Modern Slavery Statement 2019

18 October 2019

Ethical Screening is pleased to announce the publication of our first Modern Slavery Statement. We are proud to announce this on the UK's Anti-Slavery Day, the 18th of October. Anti-Slavery Day provides an opportunity to raise awareness of human trafficking and modern slavery, and encourages government, local authorities, companies, charities and individuals to do what they can to address the problem.

Although as a small business we are currently exempt from the legal requirements of Section 54 of the UK Modern Slavery Act 2015, we are committed to tackling slavery in all its forms and increasing awareness of the issue amongst our staff and suppliers. The statement details our efforts to contact suppliers to enquire about policies and train our staff to recognise modern slavery in our local community.

The full statement, signed by the Director can be found on our website here.
