UK Stakeholders for Sustainable Development
The UK Stakeholders for Sustainable Development (UKSSD) is a multi-stakeholder network, representing organisations from business, civil society, academic and public sectors in the UK, irrespective of their interests, size or location. It aims to mobilise people, communities and organisations to play their part in creating decent work in a prosperous economy and a fair and just society - all within the Earth's limits.
Fair Tax Mark
The Fair Tax Mark certification scheme was launched in February 2014 by a not-for-profit Community Benefit Society registered under the Industrial and Provident Societies Act. It seeks to encourage and recognise organisations that pay the right amount of corporation tax at the right time and in the right place. It’s the only scheme of its kind in the UK, bridging the gap between corporate responsibility and the wider tax justice movement. In June 2018 Ethical Screening was awarded the Fair Tax Mark. For further information read our Fair Tax Statement.
UN Principles for Responsible Investment
The Principles for Responsible Investment (PRI) is a UN-supported initiative. It was developed by an international network of investors working together to understand the implications of sustainability for investors; and to support signatories of the initiative in incorporating these issues into their investment decision making and ownership practices.
World Benchmarking Alliance
The World Benchmarking Alliance (WBA) seeks to generate a movement around increasing the private sector’s impact towards a sustainable future for all. In 2015, the United Nations developed 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) to help guide us. The WBA is now working to incentivise and accelerate companies’ efforts towards achieving these goals.
UK Sustainable Investment & Finance
UK Sustainable Investment & Finance (UKSIF) is the membership association for sustainable and responsible financial services, promoting responsible investment and finance that supports sustainable economic development, enhances quality of life and safeguards the environment. UKSIF also seeks to ensure that investors can reflect their values in their investments.
